Navigation on your Nokia is now free. To get the most out of your device, download the latest Ovi Maps version.

Step 1: Update your device software

Before installing Ovi Maps, please check that you have the latest phone software version for your device. Enter *#0000# on your phone’s home screen. The version number should be 20.X.XXX or greater. If needed you can update your phone software using Nokia Software Updater.

Step 2: Download Ovi Maps

1. Go to Menu > Applications > SW update on your Nokia N97
2. Select Ovi Maps from the list of available updates
3. Select Options > Start update

Step 3: Check Ovi Maps data

Check you have the maps data you need. In some cases you need to re-install maps data after Ovi Maps update.
