Home screen



The home screen is the view you see in your device display. It is your starting point, where you can quickly access the features and applications you use the most. You can also see at a glance if you have missed calls or new messages.


Shortcuts

Define which features or applications you want to access quickly. To manage the shortcut in the active standby mode, go to Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Personalisation> Standby mode > Shortcuts.

From here you can define:

    • functionalities to the left and right selection keys
    • 6 shortcuts to the shortcut bar.

To customise your home screen appearance:

  1. Select Menu > Tools > Settings.
  2. Select General > Personalisation > Standby mode > Standby theme.

You can also define whether you want the active standby view to be horizontal or vertical. To do this, go to:

  1. Menu > Tools > Settings
  2. Select General > Personalisation > Standby mode > Standby theme
  3. Select:
    • Horizontal icon bar in order to see the shortcuts and applications horizontally in the upper part of the display
    • Basic if you want to turn the active standby off (no shortcuts visible)
    • Vertical icon bar in order to see the shortcuts and applications vertically on the left side of the display.
