Your device has a full keyboard. To open the keyboard, slide it out. In all applications, the screen automatically rotates from portrait to landscape when you slide the keyboard out.

Adjust the settings:

1. Select Menu > Settings > Settings > General > Slide Handling.
• Opening the slide – You can choose which application opens when the slider is opened.
• Closing the slide – You can choose whether to go to the home screen or keep the application running when closing the slider.
• Audio change when open – You can choose to activate the loudspeaker.
• Audio change when close– You can choose to deactivate the loudspeaker.
• Keyguard activation – You can adjust the setting for keyguard activation when closing the slider.
• Tones – You can set opening and closing sounds.
